Thank you for visiting and utilizing this website and our services in the community to educate yourself and your families about how to partner with patients and providers in health care.
We will continue to work on our mission to restore trust in health care through education and communication.
However, in mid-September 2009 our name and website will change
as the structure or our mission and organization becomes stronger, independent and privately funded.
More information will be available September 8, 2009
at www.splitthebaby.com and www.restoringhealthcare.blogspot.com.
Thank you for all your support and encouragement.
Take gentle care of you,
Mary Ellen and The PULSE of PA Team

PRESS RELEASE
National Patient Safety Day
July 25, 2009
PULSE of PA encourages the remembrance of all lives affected by preventable medical error this Saturday, July 25:
~Remember the patients who have died or have been injured as a result of medical errors by lighting a candle at Noon or from 6-7PM.
~Remember the family members of people who have died from preventable errors by telling them you are lighting a candle for their loved one.
~Remember the providers who have been involved in a preventable medical error by asking them, "What would have helped you when that happened?"
~Remember that someday you too will may require medical care. Educate yourself by reading through community-based healthcare safety websites. These are the people who have first hand experience and the respectful drive to save others from a similar fate.
